Food for Seniors
FOOD for Seniors is designed to help elderly residents of Evangeline Parish receive USDA Commodities through Catholic Charities of LA, which includes a number of food items. Pre-Registration is required; on-site income verification conducted for walk-ins who have not registered for eligibility cards.
Distribution: Every first Thursday of the month.

Food Voucher Assistance is designed to help low-income individuals obtain nutritious foods that are vital to their health. The Program is dependent on the availability of funds.
Documents Needed at time of appointment: Current I.D.; Social Security Cards for everyone in the household; proof of Income for everyone in the household.
