Evangeline Community Action, Inc. is a 501(C)3 human services organization that has been in existence since 1965. Evangeline Community Action Agency, Inc. is dedicated to alleviating poverty for low income citizens through strategic planning and implementation of projects and services that will strengthen, promote quality, renew and guide families and individuals into self-sufficiency. The agency administers programs and initiatives throughout its geographic target area of Evangeline Parish. The agency consistently demonstrates its ability to effectively forge relationships between major resource providers throughout the nation; in an effort to efficiently link disadvantaged families in Evangeline Parish to the services they require in obtaining a better quality of life. Evangeline Community Action utilizes a in-house referral system to ensure that our families are receiving the maximum benefit of the array of services offered.
